92 years old.MCCOOK, Neb.— Funeral mass for Mark Albert Schaaf, 92, will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22, at the St. Patrick Church, McCook, Neb. Father Gary Brethour will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, McCook. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. today, Sept. 21, at Carpenter Breland Chapel.

Schaaf died Sept. 19, 2007 in McCook. He was born Nov. 22, 1914 in Columbus, Neb.

He graduated from high school in 1933 in Kearney, Neb. He received a nursing gegree and anesthesia training from Alexian Brothers in Chicago, Ill. He worked at Gallup Indian Medical Center 1967 to 1987. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus – 4th degree.

Survivors include sons, John Schaaf of Rio Rancho, Michael Schaaf of Gallup; daughters, Hendrika Winn of Albuquerque, Sarah Schaaf of McCook; sisters, Mary Forgive of McCook, Rita Woods of Kearney; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Schaaf was preceded in death by wife Freda; parents, Albert and Rose; brother, Myron; sisters, Angela and Thelma.

Pallbearers will be John Schaaf, Troy Fulgham, Richard Wim, John Hanson, Jerry Owens, Larry Eisenmeyer.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 108 E. 11th St. McCook, Neb.
