Wade Van Allen Wyatt , 66, Fargo, ND passed away Monday December 10, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Wade was born on March 5th, 1946 to Marvin and Keziah (Nyborg) Wyatt. Wade grew up and attended grade school in Kindred, ND before moving with his family to Fargo, ND where he attended Central High School. Wade enlisted in the Navy in October of 1966 where he served on the USS Shangri La until October of 1968. Upon returning home, he married Joanne Huff in 1969. In 1970, their son Travis was born followed by daughter Carrie in 1975. In 1982 he married Kim Eken in Fargo, ND.

Wade worked at Welu Dental Lab as a dental technician for 38 years before retiring due to health reasons. He also worked part time at 1st Presbyterian Church in Fargo, ND for several years.
In 2007 Wade received a double lung transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Despite his illness Wade was able to spend time at their cabin on Devils Lake, MN fishing and enjoying some of his hobbies, including gun and cartridge collecting.

Wade was very passionate of his hobbies through the years including; bike riding, fly-tying and bonsai tree shaping, among others. Despite Kim’s request “not to encourage him”, we all enjoyed his wit and sarcasm. He was well known for his sense of humor, often changing the mood of a room with his jokes. He babied his furry friend Sophie who enjoyed many hours hanging out together on the couch.

Wade leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Kim; son, Travis (Anne) of North Augusta, SC; daughter, Carrie (Seth) Karkela of Mora, MN; Stepfather, Louis Civilla of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Danyul and Tymothie Wyatt; a great grandson; sister-in-law, Karen (Don) Gibson; sister-in-law, Kris (Jim) Friederichs. He also leaves behind a niece and four nephews; a great niece, a great nephew, cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
