A very pretty wedding was solemnized yesterday [10 June 1897] at high noon at St. John's Church. Miss Juliet Rey Bradford, daughter of Rev. Kensey Johns Stewart, was united to Rev. John H. Windeler. The altar was attractively adorned with white bride's roses and groups of palms. The bride was unattended and entered with her father, and was met at the chancel railing by the groom and his best man, Mr. Walter Barber. The bride's gown was dainty and girlish of soft white silk tulle, and was her graduation robe worn only a few days ago, when she was graduated with high honors from Mrs. Cabell's school. She wore a large white picture hat and carried valley lilies clustered about white roses. After the ceremony a few friends were entertained at her residence, 935 P Street, at a wedding breakfast. The table was decorated with pure white blossoms, and a large cake graced the center. Among those present were Rev. Mr. Hunter, Mrs. Barber, Mr. Walter Barber. Mrs. Kate B.
