Mrs. Butler was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She lived in Petal since 1974. She spent her lifetime in the preaching work. She learned Spanish to teach others to speak English. She also taught Bible lessons to her many students. She had a small contract cleaning business that she ran for many years. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Paul Kelly, Sr.; and her mother, Lorene Dykes Kelly.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas (Frances Kelley) Butler of San Antonio, TX, Timothy C. (Kellie S.) Butler of Moselle, and Jamin Alex Butler formerly of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, Kristen (Lance) Hilton of Moselle, Katelyn (Michael) Burris of Moselle, Trenton Butler of Moselle, Treycin Butler of Moselle, Brooke Butler of Grand Bay, AL, and Tate Butler of Grand Bay, AL; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Paulette (Lonnie) Walters of Petal, and Judy (Steve) Keith of Dixie; one brother, Walter Paul Kelly, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
