Mrs. Harriet Adams, widow of George B. Adams, a pioneer Oshkosh commission merchant, passed away this afternoon at her home. 94 East New York avenue. . Mrs. Adams was seventy-eight years of age. She suffered a fall recently in which one of her limbs was fractured and the decline Incident to her advanced age combined to cause her death.
Mr. and Mrs. Adams were among the best known and earliest settlers here. The former passed away about two years ago. Mrs. Adams was a sister of the late Miss Henrietta Haskell, a pioneer teacher In the Oshkosh Normal school.
The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon from the residence at 3 o'clock. Rev. K Talbot Rogers, warden of Grafton hall. Fond du Lac, will officiate at the Episcopal services.
