Born Wednesday, July 18, 1962, in Queens, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mariah Aki Eichner. She received her education in Queens.
For many years Anne lived in Goffstown, N.H., moving to Cambridge four years ago to be near her children who had moved to the area.
She had worked at Stewart's in Cambridge.
Anne LeiLani (beautiful flower in Hawaiian) loved her cats, her coffee and palm trees. She was a wonderful, loving mother and friend.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her aunt, Regina Nemecek, and her grandparents, Ester D. and Alfred A. Eichner Sr.
She is survived by two children, Alicia Ann Charte of Salem and Philip Gerald Eichner Charte of Goffstown, N.H.; the children's father, Philip V. Charte of Goffstown, N.H.; a stepfather, Milton Burnett of Rye, N.H.; an uncle, Alfred Eichner of Woodside, Queens; three aunts and their spouses: Christin and Allen Han of Douglsville, Ga, Janet and Andy Smith of Carrollton, Ga., and Priscilla Mongeluzzo of Ocklawaha, Fla.; and several cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday, November 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ackley & Ross Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.
A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.
Ann will be cremated and her ashes will be buried in Queens with her late parents.
In memory of Anne's love for animals, the family suggests memorial donations be made to: Second Chance Animal Center, 6779 Route 7A, Shaftsbury, VT 05262.
