Ruth Irene Scott Reynolds, 100, widow of Glen Lowell Reynolds, passed away Friday at the Irvine Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Reynolds was a native of Carter County, a daughter of the late John and Bertha Tackett Scott.
She was a homemaker, and a former dairy farmer.
Ruth was preceded in death by her son Danny Lowell Reynolds; her siblings Cecil Scott, Opal Scott, Ruby Scott, and Hayden Scott.
Survivors include her daughters Carol Ann (Steve) Haller, and Bertha Lynn "Bo" McCreary; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a score of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with her family reading the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
