DANDRIDGE - Mildred Williford Bishop Wilder , age 83, Dandridge died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, Rogersville.

She was a life long native of Dandridge and Jefferson County. She was a former employee of the American Enka Corporation of Lowland.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Bishop and Fred Wilder ; a son, Kenneth Bishop; sisters, Mrs. Jim (Annie) McCoig and Mrs. Andrew (Ruth) Strange; and brothers, Hobert, Robert, Jake and Ralph Williford.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest and June Bishop, Rogersville; daughter-in-law, Vivian Bishop Thornhill, Dandridge; nine grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Friday, January 9, 2004 from 5-7 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ron Wine officiating. Interment graveside services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 11 a.m. at French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
