Mrs. Lois Carter Jordan Henderson Raynor, 102, died Sunday morning (June 13, 2021) at St. Vincent's Medical Center Southside under the care of Community Hospice and Palliative Care in Jacksonville, FL.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County. Mrs. Raynor retired from J.C. Penny's and was a member of Sweat Memorial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Raynor was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Jordan and America Carter Jordan.
Survivors include two sons, Loran Milton Henderson, Jr. of Wacyross, and William "Bill" Henry Henderson (wife Jenny) of Bethany, LA; two grandsons, Scott Henderson (wife Cassandra) of Waycross, and Tommy Henderson of Shreveport, LA; great grandchildren, Katilyn M. Henderson, Kristine Brantley and Ryan McClendon; and great great grandchildren, Kaylen, Ayden and Jeffrey Walley.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday (June 17, 2021) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
