Adwina M. Gregerson, 92, of Woodville, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Park View Home of Woodville.
She was born May 27, 1926 in Eau Galle township of St. Croix County, WI, the daughter of the late Peter and Julia (Skresvig) Nelson. She married Arley Gregerson on September 11, 1945 in Hudson, WI.
Adwina and Arley owned and operated the Gambles store in Endeavor, WI while raising their four children, Darwin, Shyla, Pam and Cindy. They sold the business in 1972 and embarked on many travels. Arley passed away in 1980 at the age of 58. Adwina then worked to get her GED plus some college credit and a realtor’s license. She took flying lessons and traveled extensively including a nine month tour around the world with her dear friend, Deborah Chambers. She also painted many beautiful scenes from her many travels . While living in Baldwin, she found much joy in volunteering at Treasures of the Heart.
Adwina’s survivors include her children, Darwin (Linda) Gregerson, Shyla Murray, and Pam Horan; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Samuel, Krista, Aaron, Casey, Cassidy, Greta and Mitch; five great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Elinor) Nelson; sister, Wanda Vae Waterman; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arley; parents, Peter and Julia; daughter, Cindy; brother, Bob Nelson; and sister, Angela.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 3 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Roberts Park Building/Senior Center , 312 North Park Street in Roberts, WI, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 3 PM.
