Lucy died at Knollwood Nursing Center. She is survived by two daughters and a son, three grandchildren, two sisters. In addition to her husband, Stanley, and her parents, John and Lucia (Cancelmo) Budano, Lucy was predeceased by her siblings: her twin, John Budano, Jr., Gus Mancini, Philly Mancini, Armando Mancini, Barney Mancini, Josie Budano, Mike Budano, Mary Budano, Amelia Budano, Ercolino Budano, Angie Budano, Lucy Budano, and Rita Budano. She was born, raised, and educated in Worcester, graduating from Sacred Heart Academy; then from David Hale Fanning Trade School, majoring in Dressmaking. She worked for David Clark Company in Worcester, ITT Suprenant in Clinton, and retired from Colonial Press in Clinton. She lived in Auburn for over 40 years. In her free time, she enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, arts and crafts, playing bingo, and travelling, especially to Graceland, Disney World, Minnesota Mall, Niagara Falls, California, Las Vegas, Arizona, and many more. Lucy also enjoyed volunteering with the Salvation Army for several years. Though flowers are welcomed, memorial donations may be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association chapter (alz.org/donate).
