Patsy Ruth Freeman passed away Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at her home in Lamar, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

Patsy was born August 29th, 1937 in Tulare, California to James Mason McCoy and Alyce Deteene McCoy. Patsy graduated from Moss Public School in 1955. She married Johnny "John" Marvin Freeman in Ada, Oklahoma on July 6, 1956. Patsy was a retired Postmaster. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lamar. Patsy enjoyed crafting, ceramics, flowers, May Kay pageants, and decorating parade floats.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jamie Michele Freeman, great grandson Orion Moreno. She is survived by her husband John Freeman of the home, son Johnny Michael Freeman and wife Goldie of Carson, grandchildren Johnny M. Freeman, Michael J. Freeman, Hanah Shea Moreno, Nick Lynch, Aubrey Beisner, eleven great grandchildren, siblings OJ "Buddy" McCoy and wife Carlee of Holdenville. Patsy is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Johnny Marvin Freeman, Michael Freeman, Hanah Moreno, Aubrey Beisner, Nick Lynch and Tony Moreno. Honorary Pallbearers are Donnie Freeman, Jennifer Freeman, Bill McCoy, Keith McCoy, Jerry Giles and Charles Gann.

Viewing will be 9:00AM-8:00PM Tuesday October 6, 2020 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Graveside service will be 11:00AM Wednesday October 7, 2020 Lamar Cemetery Pavilion in Lamar, Oklahoma with Pastor Marla Chesser officiating.
