Mrs. Lois M. Bahner, 79, a former resident of 316 S. Fourth St., died in the Doctor' s Convalescent Home, Selinsgrove, at 12:15 a.m. today. Mrs. Bahner had been a guest at the home, since Oct. 6th and prior to that she was a patient in Sunbury Community Hospital for about three weeks. Born in Mayberry Township, Montour County, Dec. 29, 1893 she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Medora Shultz Bird. She and her husband operated the Sunbury Wholesale Candy Co. at 316 S. Fourth St. from 1936 until 1963. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Walter Bahner, who she married in 1915; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Patton and Mrs. Gertrude Getty, both of Danville RD5, One son, a brother and a sister died before her. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced Wednesday.
