Funeral services for Rev. William Lawrence Cocherell will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Blanchard Church of the Nazarene in Blanchard, Louisiana. A visitation service will be held at 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens North Cemetery in Blanchard. Officiating the service is Pastor Delbert Terry, Rev. John Rabo, Rev. Alton Ashby and Rev. Greg Johnson.
William Lawrence was born on July 23, 1930 in Blanchard, Louisiana to Charlie Cocherell and Lona Adkinson and passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Blanchard, Louisiana.
William Lawrence served the Lord as a pastor in the Church of Nazarene for over 30 years.
William Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents and other siblings. He is survived by his wife, Fay Cocherell; daughters, Shelia Taylor, Cindy Meshell and Jackie Rabo; sister, Drucilla Ferguson; brothers, Charlie Cocherell and McDade Cocherell; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Honoring William Lawrence as pallbearers will be Rev. Alton Ashby, Rev. John Rabo, Lynn Meshell, Brandon Meshell, T.J. Rabo and Buddy Taylor.
