Jesse Lee Durante, age 60 of Meridian, Oklahoma passed away on September 29, 2020. He was born on October 16, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joseph "Joe" Max and Eva (DeMoss) Durante.
Jesse married Melanie Farrar on January 7, 1995 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He and Melanie were the owners of Durante Construction, Inc. since 2001. They moved to Guthrie from Yukon in 2015. He attended Discovery Church in Yukon and enjoyed reading the Bible and spreading the Word. Jesse also enjoyed fishing, boating and shooting.
Survivors include his wife Melanie of the home in Meridian, children Laura Calhoun and husband Bryan of Mustang, Christine Kennedy and husband Ben of Meridian, Kiristin Rabourn of Oklahoma City, Jesse Durante, II of Mustang and Taylor Durante of Meridian. He is also survived by his two sisters and two brothers, Tom Durante and wife Kathy of Union City, Rose Gill and husband Robert of Shawnee, Tony Durante and wife Debbie of Bethany, Pamela Hardesty and husband Steve of Meridian and his eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the First Southern Baptist Church with Kevin Fouts of Discovery Church officiating. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Arcadia. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Visitation will be held at Hayes Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M
