Mrs. Alice Blanche Argenbright, 64, of R. R. 1, died this morning at the Chambersburg Hospital. She had been in ill health for three years.
Born on July 23, 1901 in St. Thomas Township, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hay.
She was a member of Scotland Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur E. Argenbright; three sons and three daughters: Roy E. of Scotland; Carl T, of Shippensburg; J. Stphen, at home; Mrs. George A. Hill, Panama City, Fla.; Mrs. Paul Houck, R. R. 1, Newburg, and Mrs. Richard E. Gelsinger, R. R. 1; 14 grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters: Gelwicks, of Picwick, Ohio; David, of Irwin; Harry, of Hagerstown, Mrs William Wright, 1986 Philadelphia Ave.; Mrs. Elizabeth A. Fitzgerald, 748 Fairground Ave., and Mrs. Gail Branyan, of Enola.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Sellers funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Jacob Zepp. Burial will be made in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
