Jane was born June 15, 1923 in Canton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Christian Henry and Cena (Konen) Stockert. Jane was a very talented musician who could play the organ, piano, accordion, and concertina. Jane and her husband shared their love by singing love songs to each other. They were very devoted to their faith and devoted Catholics. Jane served working for the Vincent De Paul Society of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She loved receiving greeting cards, and has a large collection of them as she kept all of them that she received. An excellent cook, and great baker, Jane loved to share with those she loved. She was the loving mother of 6 children and she delighted in her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to Black Forrest in Germany and the Grand Canyon, painting, sewing and knitting.
Jane is survived by her children, Bonnie (Bill) Krempel-Portier D.O., Michael A. Krempel, JoAnne Krempel-Hoover, Father Matthew A. Krempel, and Steve D. (Mary) Krempel; her grandchildren, Phillip, Thea, Laura, Mark, Jen, Daniel, Robert, and Kenneth; her great grandchildren, Sloane, Taylor, William, Luke, Maxine, Anna, Ethan, Kate, Makenna, Samara, Charlotte, Alex, Ben, Myles and Rollan; her brother, Walter Stockert; and her sister, Marguerite Eckstein. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Aloysius Anthony Krempel; her daughter, Diana Krempel; her grandson, T.Andrew; and her siblings, Paul, Harold, Arvine, Garnette, Father Donfred, and Tom.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery
