BURLINGTON--FEB. 17. Funeral services for. Mrs. E. M. Haney, 84, Harris Street who died yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. M. Shirlen, following an ill ess of several weeks was conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Penecostal Holiness Church by Rev. F. V. Ellenburg. Interment was in Pine Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Haney was a native of Mitchell County and in addition to Mrs. Shirlen she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. Y. Silver, Jefferson City, Tenn., Mrs. Sadie Chrissman, Travelers Rest, SC, and Mrs. Sue Fox, Weaverville; three sons, R. E. Haney, Burnsville, John Haney, Old Fort, and George Haney, Black Mountain, and 25 grand children and 5 great grand children.
