Brice, Jessie C. Born 3-3-1927 in Glen Cove, Tx. left us to join her beloved husband, Jack, on June 9, 2014. "Jess Charles", "Jessie" or "Mama Jessie", as she was known, married the love of her life, Jack H. Brice, while he was on leave during WWII on September 22, 1945. They celebrated 63 years of a wonderful life together. Jessie loved her family and friends more than anything. She worked at Allstate Insurance until she retired and has remained close to all. Our mother "Loved" people, and she loved life. She volunteered at St. Ann's in Coppell, Tx for almost 10 years. Everyone loved, "Miss Jessie". Her family and friends will miss her energy and zest for life. She was a Great Lady. Jessie is survived by her 3 children, Joanna Sweitzer, Judy Cooper and Jerry Brice, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grand children, her sisters, Billie Ann Votaw, Sue Ward, brother in law, Don Brice, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held June 21, 11:00a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: U.T. Southwestern Med.
