Daughter of Late Clark Crocker Passed Away at Her Home in This City
Mrs. Julia Crocker Buckbee, the wife Of Samuel G Buckbee, died quite unexpectedly at her home yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The second baby of the family passed away on Monday causing as well the death of the mother, complications which were not anticipated arising from Its birth and resulting fatally. The news has been the greatest shock and grief to the many friends of Mrs. Buckbee and the deepest sympathy Is felt for the members of the bereaved family and especially for her husband and the little daughter of 3 years who It left motherless. Mrs. Buckbee. who was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clark Crocker was a great favorite and her cheerful sunny disposition and charming manner will be sadly missed. She was born in Sacramento but came to San Francisco to live when a child. She received most of her education here but was at school in Paris for some time. On her return she made her debut and was very popular in society becoming the wife of Samuel G. Buckbee about eight years ago. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. W. C. Van Fleet, Mrs. Robert McCreary of Sacramento, both of whom were with her at the time of her death and Mrs. Frederick Green and one brother Henry J. Crocker. The funeral services which will be private are to be held at her late home on Friday.
