Joseph H. Cheser, 85, died Tuesday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of Williamsburg Baptist Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Bessie Hardin; a daughter, Anna Bell Mitchell; a brother, Dewey Cheser of Bardstown; and two grandchildren. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. (Published in The Louisville Courier-Journal, Wednesday, May 20, 1987)
