With great regret we chronicle the death of Mr. Albert J. Syms, of this county, on Sunday morning last. Mr. Syms was 76 years of age and had been a great sufferer for a number of months. He leaves an aged wife and five children all grown. He was one of the most respected citizens of the county, an honorable man of sterling integrity and of great public spirit. In his community he will be greatly missed and his influence as a citizen lost in a wide circle of acquaintanceship. We tender our sympathy in connection with those of many relatives and friends to the family suffering so great a loss. He was interred at Mt. Zion church, of which he was a member for more than half a century. Rev. C. S. Bridges assisted by Rev. Robert Kerr conducted funeral services.
