Edward, 28, was killed in December 1907 (aged 28) in Bonita, Morehouse Parish, LA. He was buried in Bonita Cemetery. Anna was about six months pregnant with their second child, Bolivar, when Edward was killed.

"MRS. HITESMAN'S SERVICES TODAY
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. at the Rose-Neath, funeral Home Chael for Mrs. Walter Walter W. Hitesman, 85, 526 Mockingbird Lane, who died Sunday at 8 a.m. at the Olive Gardens Nursing Home after an extended illness.

She was a native of Evergreen and a Shreveport resident for the past 10 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Broadmoor Capter No. 233 Order of the Eastern Star, and Bethel White Shrine No. 2.

Mrs. Hitesman is survived by two sons, B. E. Hitesman of Shreveport and Walter W. Hitesman of Bedford, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Futrell of Shreveport, and Mrs. F.H. Van Wagoner of San Antonio, Tex.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Dr. Sam Nader, pastor of Noel Memorial Methodist Church, will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harry McLeod, John A. Liberto, B.E. Rodgers, D.S. McIver, E. Guy Gibson and K.D. Futrell"
