Walter Jenkins, Pipefitter, Dies
Walter T. Jenkins, 70, of 6246 Morrill, retired Burlington pipefitter. died here early Wednesday morning.
Mr. Jenkins was born at Harvard and lived in Nebraska all his life. He was a member of the Havelock Methodist Church; Martha Washington Lodge No. 250, A. F. & A. M.; Martha Washington Chapter No. 153, O. E. S.; Vesper Rebekah Lodge No. 375; I.O.O.F., No. 244, and the Burlington Veteran's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Maude; a son, Lloyd, of Lincoln; a sister, Clara Pearson of Manley; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Havelock Methodist Church. Rev. R. R. Kreps and Rev. Merlin Dana will officiate. Don Fawcett will sing accompanied by Esther Shipman. Masonic services will be held at the church. Burial will be in Havelock cemetery.
