From the effects of an operation to which he submitted to less than a week ago at the Jewish hospital in Cincinnati, Harper E Powers, well known Bowersville man, and formerly an ice cream manufacturer in this city, died at noon Tuesday, April, 2, 1918. Mr. Powers was born and reared on a farm near Bowersville, where his father, *William Powers, is now living. He married **Miss Daisy White of Bowersville, who survives him, with one daughter Lavon, aged 12 years. The body of Mr. Powers reached Xenia last night ant was taken to Bowersville by undertakers Stewart and Burr. Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon.
