Mrs. Loy Allie Evans
BOSSIER CITY, LA. - Funeral services for Mrs. Loy Allie Evans, 95, will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 1991 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Honzell, Pastor of Koran Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans died on Sunday, December 29, 1991 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Claiborne Parish, La. and had lived in Bossier City since 1933. She was a member of Koran Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew G. Evans and her son, James A. Evans.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorenzo Hammock of Elm Grove, La. and Lora Marion of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Lucille Evans of Bossier City, La.; one brother, Clarence Chandler of Zwolle, La.; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Hammock, Dudley Marion, Larry Roberts, Don Cox, Gibbs Evans and Margene McCoy. Special thanks to Dr. Bruce Hennigan; also to the doctors and nursing staff on the 5th floor West at Willis-Knighton Hospital.
