Her great-grand daughter is Gloria, Dowager Fürstin von Thurn und Taxis, mother of the current head of the house, Albert, 12.Fürst von Thurn & Taxis.

She was a sister of Sophie, Herzogin von Hohenberg, the morganatic wife of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. Their assassination led to the beginning of World War I.
