Alfred Michael "Al" Cheselka passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio to Justine (nee Stefanak) and Michael Cheselka on July 14, 1928.

Al is survived by his loving companion, Marcia Brown. He was married to Beverly Labaj (deceased) for 52 years, and was also preceded in death by his sister Justine Bechler Evans and his brother Michael Cheselka. He is the beloved uncle of Michael, Mitchell, Michele, Matthew, and Sheila.

Al graduated from J.F. Rhodes High School in Cleveland, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He graduated from Western Reserve University in Cleveland where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Al owned and operated the York Inn in Parma and the Gables in Cleveland. In 1964 he opened his own real estate brokerage office in Parma Heights, Ohio. He was a charter member of Century 21. Al taught Real Estate at Kent State University and at Tri-C, and was an expert on real estate law and was often asked for advice on real estate matters. Al ran 3 marathons and enjoyed running his whole life, starting with his high school team. He also enjoyed working out in his home gym every day.

In his later years, Al enjoyed his retirement and travels with Marcia. He especially enjoyed his surprise 90th birthday celebration with many friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. At Al's request, there will be no funeral services.

Cremation by Busch Crematory. Private interment at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
