She passed away Thursday, June 26, 1997 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Road Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband: Leamon William Cotten of Rhinehart; four sons: Talton William Cotten, Leslie Glen Cotten, Derwood Cotten all of Rhinehart and Allen Lee Cotten of Alabama; two sisters: Mary Adams Bordelon and Evern Adams Whatley both of Jonesville; two brothers: J.W. Adams and Clarence Adams both of Jonesville and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her four sons Talton Cotten, Leslie Cotten, Derwood Cotten, Allen Cotten; Bobby Garcee and Junior Bordelon. Honorary Pallbearers were brothers J.W. Adams and Clarence Adams
