Rose Feltman was born February 26, 1915 in Harriston Township the daughter of Joe and Selma (Schuster) Feltman. She was reared and educated there.
On October 30, 1934 she married Julius Gerszewski at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw, North Dakota. They farmed in Walshville township until Julius died in 1949. Rose moved to Olso, Minnesota in 1950 where she lived until 1996. She then moved to Grafton, North Dakota and resided with her daughter, Louise Hoffman. On August 3, 2005 she became a resident of the Lutheran Sunset Home. She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Rose enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Louise Hoffman of Grafton, North Dakota; sisters: Jean Knaus of Minto, North Dakota; Luella (Ronald) Collette of Longview, Washington, and Magdalene (Bill) Culbertson of Livermore, California; brother: Wallace (Evelyn) Feltman of Grand Forks, North Dakota; nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Sophie (Dominic) Topka and Cyrella; brothers, Steve, Winslow, and John.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 29, 2005 at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Grafton with burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Warsaw. Friends may call at the Barnes Family Funeral Service on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 pm and one hour prior to services in the church. The Barnes Family Funeral Service, Henriksen-Kamrowski Chapel of Grafton is assisting the family with arrangements.
