A telegram was received here on Thursday night from Stirling, Kansas, announcing the death of Mrs. Ada Skiles, wife of John K. Skiles, a merchant of Stirling and a nephew of John D. Skiles, of Lancaster. Deceased was the eldest daughter of the late venerable pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, this city, the Rev. Dr. E. Greenwald, and she and her husband removed to Kansas from Lancaster about a score of years ago. the body will be brought here for interment at Woodward Hill Cemetery. -- Lancaster New Era, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 30Jul1897, p. 1.
