Mrs. Mable Clark Passes Away At Hospital

Mrs. Mable Kitty Clark, R. D. 2, DuBois, died at the Maple Avenue hospital Saturday morning at 4:30 after an illness that continued over a period of ten to 15 years.

She had been bedfast for the past six months. News of the death of Mrs. Clark will be learned with keen regret on the part of a large number of friends.

Mrs. Clark was born in 1890 in DuBois, her parents being Ralph E. Smiley and Mrs. Etta J. Johnson-Smiley. She had lived all of her life in this community.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Harry W. Clark and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Floyd T. Jones, Richmond, Va.; Mrs. Wilbert Morgan, Punxsutawney, Braxton H. Clark, Struthers, O.: Mrs. James R. Mauthe, DuBois; Etta J. Clark and Mary C. Clark, at home. One child and one brother preceded her in death. Seven grandchildren survive as do the following brothers and sisters. Mrs. M. A. Lydick, DuBois; Mrs. William Hand, DuBois, William Smiley, DuBois; and Fred Smiley, Oregon.

Funeral service will be conducted at the home Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. B. F. Rudisill, of the Trinity Lutheran church. Burial will be made in Morningside cemetery. Friends are being received at the home.
