Lauriene E. Marzean of Alpena passed away at home September 12, 2020, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, surrounded by her loving family. Lauriene Zamenski was born on March 5, 1937 in Alpena, MI to the late Stanley A. and Mildred (Jackowiak) Zamenski.

Lauriene married Francis "Fritz" Marzean at St. Mary's Catholic Church on August 11, 1956 with Msgr. Gatzke officiating. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, the St. Elizabeth Society, Rosary Society, Prayer Partners, Scrap Quilters and was an Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's. She enjoyed camping and traveling and was a friend to all: doing anything she could to help everyone. She loved spending time with and greatly enjoyed her family and especially her wonderful grandchildren.
