"A WEDDING of abiding interest to the young people of Brenham, owing to their acquaintance with and friendship for the bride, occurred at Farmers Branch, Dallas county, Wednesday evening, the contracting parties being Mr. John Orr and Miss Eleanor Bassett. The bride is a former resident of Brenham, being a sister of Miss Gilmore Bassett and of Mrs. R. J. Swearingen and Mrs. Ida Harris, the latter of whom was in attendance at the nuptial ceremony. The BANNER expresses the sentiments of a large circle of friends in extending congratulations and best wishes."
