He was a Free Will Baptist minister for 54 years. He pastored 25 years in five states--Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, North Carolina and Tennessee. He twice served as a home missionary. He was a denominational leader in developing church training materials and Sunday School curriculum. He was a highly regarded meeting planner. He served 18 years with two FWB national agencies (Church Training Service and Sunday School Dept.). A profile Bible teacher, writer and vocalist, he published seven books and recorded three albums.
