Helen Mary Sorenson (nee Schiltz) passed away on July 8 at the Villa Maria Nursing home after an extended illness. Helen was the oldest daughter of 4 children born in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota to William Schiltz and Maria (Marso) Schiltz. She married Harold Emil Sorenson in 1927. Together they had 2 sons, Clifford Lloyd born in 1925 and Robert James born in 1935. She worked as a typist / stenographer for the Veterans Administration. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968. She lived in the Minneapolis area her entire life. Surviving her are her 2 sons, and 2 sister, Alida Aberle of Madison, Wisconsin and Naomi O'Connor in Minneapolis.
