VERO BEACH, FLA. – Maude E. Bowers, 87, of 2601 51st Av., died May 23, at the Indian River Memorial Hospital, in Vero Beach.
Born in Rolando, Ohio, she lived in Akron most of her life, the last 21 years in Florida. She was a member of the First Covenant Church of Vero Beach.
Preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Bowers; and great-granddaughter, Miki Bowers; she is survived b her husband, Chester A.; sons, Paul E. Bowers of Akron, and Jack D. Bowers of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn C. Lawson of Arizona; sister, Hazel M. Lawson of Akron.
Funeral services Friday, 11 a.m. at the Eckark-Baldwin Funeral Home, Rev. Paul D. Dunn officiating. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery.
