Rites Held for J. A. Bradbury

Funeral services for James Albert Bradbury, 64, Sweetwater barber who died at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Sweetwater hospital, were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Wells Funeral Home chapel. Tommie Bonner of the Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Wells.

Mr. Bradbury had been a resident of Sweetwater for 25 years. Sunday morning about 11, he suffered a stroke of apoplexy.

Besides he widow, he was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl Brown of Sweetwater, and Mrs. Neely Fox of Lovington, N.M.; one son, Cpl. James Welch Bradbury, who is in the government hospital in California; three brothers, Sam Bradbury of Snyder, R. E. Bradbury of Abilene and the Rev. A. E. Bradbury of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Mrs. Joe Beck of Abilene; and two grandchildren.
