Mrs. Sarah “Marlene” Nixon Devier, age 70, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Mrs. Devier was born December 5, 1949, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of the late William O. and Lucille Cameron Nixon. She was Baptist by faith and along with her late husband, owned and operated AAA Transmission. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Devier was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Devier; sisters, Joyce Diane Johnson and Glenda Gail Tucker; and a daughter, Lisa.
Mrs. Devier is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Tracy Devier, Jeff and Amanda Devier; grandchildren, Kristan Devier, Caitlyn Lowe, Jacob Devier, Caleb Devier, Haven Devier, and Jameson Devier; great-grandchildren, Benton Devier, Aubree Lowe, and Haisley Lowe.
Funeral services will be held privately. Private interment will be held in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Devier, Haven Devier, Caleb Devier, Blake Tucker, Brian Tucker, and Tim Fulmer.
