Marilyn LaBelle, age 66 of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. She is survived by her brother, Eugene Richard (Mary) LaBelle; seven sisters: Leilani (Stanley) Stansfield, Deloris (late, Donald) Waterfield, her twin, Maureen (Ralph) Fairman, Patricia (John) Orwin, Sharon (George) Mizuki, Michele (Robert) Ellis, and Nancy (late, Mitchell) Czulewicz; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Dorothy LaBelle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Mosley celebrant. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Marilyn was born on May 15, 1046 in Sioux Falls, SD and had lived in the Hessville section of Hammond since 1989. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a volunteer for St. Catherine Hospital Auxiliary. Marilyn loved drawing and painting. She was a loving sister and aunt who will be dearly missed.
