David Alan Boring went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 8th, 2020. He was born on August 4th, 1957, in Edmond, OK; son of Ruth (Matthews) Boring and Francis Erwin Boring.
David was a 1976 graduate of Midwest City High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree on a tennis scholarship from East Central University in Ada, OK. David was a three time Oklahoma State Champion in tennis. David’s 38 year energy career included crude oil trading at companies in the states of Arizona, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas.
He was married to the love of his life, Carla (Warner), for 32 years.
Spending time with family and friends was a joy for David; fun, adventurous and memorable travels led him and his family to visit several states and countries. A few of David’s many hobbies include golf, woodworking, and making beautiful lamps.
David had great faith; his huge, kind heart and sense of humor leaves an imprint in our memories and hearts.
Besides his wife, Carla, of The Woodlands, TX, his son, Robert (Kristine) of Phoenix, AZ and son Russell of Los Angeles, CA. David leaves behind his mother-in-law, Goldie Marie Warner, sisters, Debra Goeller (Larry), Jana Long (Gilbert), Nancy Head (Tony), brother, Jeff Boring (Robin) and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and very supportive, loving friends. David was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Francis Boring.
