John Wayne Thrasher, 63 of Arab passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his residence. John was born September 14, 1956 the son of Clatus Thrasher and Billie Jean Holland Thrasher. He served over 18 years in the US Army and was a retired Automotive Technician Instructor for the Cullman County Career Center.

He is survived by his Wife: Judy Williams Thrasher of Arab; Children: Christie Owens (Marcus) of Tuscaloosa, Kara Robinson (Tony) of Prattville and Timothy Williams of Arab; Brother: Simmie Thrasher of Arab; Sister: Charlotte Graham of Georgia; Step-Father: Milton Lovvorn; Step Brother: Henry Lovvorn; Step Sisters: Penny Walker and Nancy Lovvorn; Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Steven Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Bremen.

Pallbearers: Bobby Joe Williams, Gary Lyle, Willie Pitts, Mckeinsey Pollard, Tim Hornsby and Mel Cantrell.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
