Wife of B. Franklin DawsonMary Agnes Kretsinger, eldest daughter of William and Lydia Kretsinger, was born December 3, 1881 at Paola, Kansas and passed to her eternal reward from her home at Yates Center, on February 1, 1942 after a short illness.
She was united in marriage to Benjamin Franklin Dawson on June 14, 1906 at the home of her parents in Paola. Following her marriage she and her husband located near Toronto, and have lived near Toronto and Yates Center, since that time.
To this union were born five children, Mrs. Edith Ludlam, of Lawrence, Kansas, Charley of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Mrs. Hazel Ireland of Harvard, Idaho, Leonard of Denver, Colorado, and Jean of the home.
Mr. Dawson passed away on November 21. 1941.
Mrs. Dawson gave her heart to her Lord in early girlhood and lived a humble sincere Christian thru the years. She was a member of the Methodist church all her Christian life. She found satisfaction in community club activities when circumstances permitted.
Surviving her are her five children and one step son, one grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. D. C. Maddox of Paola, and Mrs. Claude Russell of Harrisonville, Mo., one brother, Milo Kretsinger, of Belen, New mexico, and other numerous relatives and friends.
