Vittel James Truckey, age 96, loving Father, husband of the late Harriet Alberta (Driggs), grandfather, great grandfather and great-great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home, in his sleep on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, as his heart desire.

Vittel is survived by 2 daughters, Pat and her husband Art Peavy of West Allis, WI; Ricki Lynn and her husband Carl Geller of Marinette, WI; Dear brother to Amos (Clarse) Truckey and Napoleon Truckey; A daughter-in-law, Pat of Merrill, WI; Dear friend and neighbor to Cliff & Barb Anderson; "Special (Dad) to Richard Januszak".
He was also blessed with 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends

Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Bob and Jim; and a daughter-in-law, Vera Truckey

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Zion Lutheran Church (221 S. Ellis Ave.) Peshtigo from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. David Zahn will be officiating. There will be a lunch to follow.
