Visiting at Niland Funeral Home, New Roads, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, 1:30 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Tom Duhe. Burial in Chenal Cemetery. Survived by a son, Murphy J. Bergeron Jr., Hammond; a daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Shirley Bergeron Celestin, Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Darlene Guillot, Cynthia Hathaway, Linda Saizan, Sharon Fletcher, Daryl and Kevin Celestin; and five great-grandchildren, Jason Guillot, Nathan Hathaway, Jeremy Fletcher, Chris and Brandon Phillips. Preceded in death by husband, Murphy J. Bergeron Sr.
