Patsy Rose Andrews of Okemos, Michigan and Sarasota, Florida, age 88, formerly of Adrian, Michigan, died in Lansing on June 26, 2012, just four days shy of her 89th birthday.

She was born June 30, 1923 in Portland, Oregon to Stephen and Dorothy Nicholas.

Patsy was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Merland. The loss of her husband, whom she loved dearly, weighed heavily upon her these past eighteen months.

Patsy is survived by her sister, Juanita (Milo) Rupp of Middleburg, FL; sons, Robert M. of Okemos and Jim R. of Mishawaka, IN; daughter, Jinger K of Okemos; grandson, Brennan R. of Okemos; great-grandson, Brennan K. of Okemos; and other family members. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by them.

Later this year her cremains will be united with those of her late husband's and scattered in Little Sarasota Bay near their winter home in Sarasota, FL. The family wishes to thank the professionals at Sparrow's Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for their many acts of kindness.
