The funeral of Elna E. Craig, 75, of 300 Highpoint Road, Normal, a self-employed beautician, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington.
The Rev. William H. Stryker will officiate. Burial will be in Lostant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the memorial home.
Mrs. Craig died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 30, 1990) at Americana Healthcare Center, Normal, after a brief illness.
She was born May 10, 1914, in Lostant, the daughter of Herman T. and Frieda K. Heusel Barr. She married Robert W. Craig in Davenport, Iowa, in 1940. He died in March 1972.
Survivors include one daughter, Eileen Henderson, 300 Highpoint Road, Normal; one brother, Emmett J. Barr, Lostant; six grandchildren; and five great-grandsons.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Mrs. Craig operated Craig's Beauty Shop in Bloomington for many years. She was a former member of Bloomington Chapter 50 Order of the Eastern Start and was past royal matron of the Order of the Amaranth. She was a volunteer for many years at the Brokaw Thrift Shop.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
