DANIEL, WASATCH COUNTY - Melba Price, 55, of Daniel, died Friday at the home of her mother in Daniel of a heart ailment.

She was born June 19,1916 in Daniel, a daughter of Thomas Warren and Maude Christina Swain Bell. She married Albert B. Price on May 25, 1935 in Daniel, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Mrs. Price was a 4-H leader for three years, and member of the Chorettes, Wasatch County women's singing group.

Surviving are her husband; sons and a daughter, Mervin Albert, Marvin Thomas, Brent Richard, all of Daniel; Charles B. of Salt Lake City; Mrs. William (Melba Arlene) Whitcomb Jr. of Castle Rock, Colo.; and William Glen, serving an LDS mission in Canada; 15 grandchildren; her mother of Daniel; and brother and sisters, LaMar Bell, Mrs. Loyd (Norda) Jacobsen, both of Daniel; Mrs. Leland (Elaine) Broadhead of Pleasant Grove.

Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m.. in the Daniel LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary, Heber City, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday before services; Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery.

Melba Bell is the daughter of Maude Christina Swain and Thomas Warren Bell. She married Albert "B" Price May 25, 1935 in Daniel's Creek, Utah. They had five children.
