Hedden L. Wyatt, 89, Olney, died at Richland Memorial Hospital.


He was born June 15, 1900 in Clay County, IL, the son of William and Josephine Cook wyatt. He married Eunice Poynter and she preceded him in death. He later married Susie Butler in 1938 and she survives.


He was a chemical operator for a cosmetic manufacturer. He was a member of the Headyville Christian Church and a member of the Richland County Senior Citizens Club.


Surviving, in addition to the second wife, are a son, James Wyatt; two daughters, Maxine Alcoke and Imogene Galloway; two sisters, Josephine Birch and Eliza Bryant; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by one son, three sons, five brothers, and his first wife.


Funeral services were held at the Headyville Christian Church with burial in the Headyville Cemetery.


Memorials may be made to the Clay County Heart Fund.
