BERNICE CANNON
PASSED AWAY ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2020

Our Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law passed away peacefully surrounded by the loving comfort of her family on September 2, 2020. Bernice’s beautiful soul was born on December 19th, 1932 on the gorgeous island of Honolulu, Hawaii to Alice and John lee. Bernice took great pride in being from her native island and also a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attacks. She and her parents then relocated to Utah where she would later go on to marry William (Bill) Cannon on October 30th. 1953. Together they had three sons whom Bernice loved dearly, raising them in the close knit town of Magna where she would end up calling home for the rest of her life. She was extremely proud of her three sons and for all they had accomplished in their lives, a lot of which can be owed to the strong independent women Bernice was and all that she taught her sons. Bernice cherished her time with her sons, as well as her 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren whom she adored dearly. Bernice loved spending her weekend mornings and afternoons shopping and going to lunch with her family and after would stop and visit other family members. Bernice was a stunning woman who took her fashion to another level, always looking the best every where she went, her looks certainly matched her personality that was truly one of a kind. Bernice thoroughly enjoyed being outside and took great pride in her yard and loved decorating for every holiday season. Bernice’s love even expanded beyond her family to the numerous dogs she had during her life, becoming the ultimate dog-mom along with being the ultimate woman. Bernice is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Cannon, sister Jacqueline (Jackie) Batt, and son Edward (Eddie) Cannon, She is survived in death by her sons William (Marcia) and Brian (Beckie), daughter-in-law Bonnie, 6 grand-children, and 8 great-grandchildren.
